Plus, there is a Laker that could have a reduced role in Tuesday’s game and may be slotted too high in his points prop. I’m focusing on just points props for this In-Season Tournament showdown, so let’s jump into the picks:

Suns vs. Lakers best NBA prop bets today

  • Kevin Durant OVER 28.5 points
  • Austin Reaves OVER 12.5 points
  • Cam Reddish UNDER 8.5 points

Kevin Durant OVER 28.5 points

Kevin Durant has been, as usual, on an absolute heater.

He’s shooting 51.2 percent from the field and 49.4 percent from beyond the arc and averaging 31.0 points per game.

Durant is going to be called upon in a big way in this game against the Lakers – even with Devin Booker in the lineup.

The two-time NBA Finals MVP scored 39 and 38 points in the first two meetings between these teams, and he’s cleared 28.5 points in 11 games this season. KD has also put up 30 or more points in seven of his last eight.

Austin Reaves OVER 12.5 points

If you’re looking to bet on a Laker, look no further than Austin Reaves, who has scored 13 or more points in six of his last eight contests.

Reaves figures to be one of the players who doesn’t see his role diminish with the return of Jarred Vanderbilt and Rui Hachimura.

With Vandy back against Houston, Reaves scored 18 points (more than LeBron James) on 6-of-11 shooting. I like Reaves at this discounted number on Tuesday.

Cam Reddish UNDER 8.5 points

I’m going to fade Cam Reddish in this game, as I think he could end up losing some minutes with Vanderbilt and Hachimura back in the fold.

Reddish is averaging just 7.2 points per game, and he’s cleared this number just one time in his last five appearances.

With Rui back, there is less of a need for Reddish’s offense, and there’s a chance Vanderbilt – not Reddish – is tasked with more of the defensive role against Kevin Durant.

It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out, but this number feels too high for me on Tuesday.
