Best NBA prop bets today for Suns vs. Clippers (Bet these two Suns to bounce back)
By Peter Dewey
The Phoenix Suns suffered a brutal loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday night, struggling mightily from the field in the first quarter.
The loss dropped the Suns back to the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference, meaning that they’d have to participate in the play-in tournament to earn their playoff spot.
While there is still time for the Suns to climb out of the play-in, every game – and win – matters at this point in the season.

After seeing the offense struggle early on Tuesday, should we trust the Suns in the prop market tonight? I have two players that I think are due for bounce-back games in a rematch with the Clippers.
Suns vs. Clippers best NBA prop bets
- Kevin Durant OVER 25.5 points
- Grayson Allen OVER 2.5 3-pointers made
Kevin Durant OVER 25.5 points
Kevin Durant had just 21 points on Tuesday night, falling short of this number for the third time in as many games, but it’s not for a lack of trying.
Durant has shot at least 22 shots in back-to-back games, and he’s averaging 19.6 field goal attempts per game over his last seven matchups. Given KD’s shooting percentages (52.4 percent from the field, 41.8 percent from 3), you’d expect him to clear this number more often than not with this kind of volume.
With the Suns playing for their playoff lives (if they want the No. 6 seed), I expect Durant to continue to be aggressive and attempt 20-plus shots again tonight. The two-time Finals MVP has not delivered on this prop a ton, but it’s hard to deny his usage right now.
On the season, KD is still averaging 27.3 points per game.
Grayson Allen OVER 2.5 3-pointers made
Tuesday was a nightmare for Grayson Allen, as he shot 0-for-8 from beyond the arc and 3-for-13 from the field in the Suns’ 13-point loss.
However, Allen has been one of the best 3-point shooters in the NBA this season, shooting 45.7 percent from the deep and averaging 2.7 made shots from deep per game.
Over his last 17 games, Allen only has six where he failed to make three or more shots from deep, and he’s attempting 7.7 3s per game over that stretch.
I’ll trust him to get back on track on Wednesday.
