6 potential free agent targets for the Suns who have ties to Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant has had a whole host of teammates during his time in the league, and these are six that the Phoenix Suns could target this offseason.

3. JaVale McGee

JaVale McGee played with Durant during the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Seeing as how Drew Eubanks could enter free agency if he picks up his player option, a good replacement would be McGee.

The veteran center also played with the All-Star forward during their stint with the Golden State Warriors. Additionally, he's familiar with Frank Vogel's system as he played for him when he was with the Los Angeles Lakers.

McGee's return to the Suns will be much appreciated by fans as he's a great rim protector. Although he's on the older side now, he's still an effective role player. Adding a defensive-minded big man will help their quest to contend for the title.

He'll be an unrestricted free agent this summer.
