2. Monte Morris
Monte Morris has never even played a game for the Suns, and we're talking about trading him already? Stick with us on this one. Morris signed a minimum deal this summer, and he can't actually be moved until December 14th anyway, so he's not going anywhere to begin with.
The addition of Morris was seen as a nice move by the Suns, but that was until they somehow convinced Jones to also sign for the minimum. Morris is now going to come off the bench, but just how often he is going to be used will be interesting to watch unfold.
If we assume that Jones, Booker, Durant, Nurkic and Bradley Beal are the starting five - and that Allen, Plumlee, Royce O'Neale and Josh Okogie make up most of the second unit - the minutes begin to run out for Morris quickly. The Suns also got a pair of rookies in Ryan Dunn and Oso Ighodaro and although they aren't point guards, they'll need time to develop as well.
Which could mean Morris is on the move come the turn of the year, as a result of the Suns overcompensating for their lack of a true point guard last season by getting both Morris and Jones. It's just going to be very hard for him to make his mark in The Valley - and if he does - it will be at the expense of Allen, O'Neale or Okogie. All of which have signed new contracts in recent months,
