1. Shake Milton
This is a move that makes a lot of sense for both the Suns and Shake Milton. Although point guard Kris Dunn would be the dream offseason acquisition - which really says a lot about where this team is at right now - the chance to add a 27-year-old guard to back up Booker and Beal sounds great in theory.
It wasn't so long ago that Milton was putting up 13 points per game for the Philadelphia 76ers, and that was achieved while starting four out of a possible 63 games. It would be a stretch to say that Milton is a microwave off the bench, but he does look like a guy who could handle the ball some more if given the opportunity.
How great would that be for Booker, who could get back to being the elite scorer that fans know and love him as first and foremost? Adding Milton would be a better move than Mills - and even though the Australian is the veteran who can organize a group better and is the natural point guard - Milton right now is just the younger and better player.
Again he'd only be needed to be the eighth man - and when you consider this is the same spot the Suns envisioned for Chimezie Metu and Keita Bates-Diop last summer - you realize how possible it is for Milton to come in and actually make a difference. Both of those players are long gone, and the opportunity is there for one of the players listed here to take that chance properly next season.
