Eric Gordon

The only current Phoenix Sun on this list, Eric Gordon has been a valuable contributor since arriving with the team last summer. Very much nearing the twilight of his career now, Eric has proven that he still has more in the tank and has done a lot to help keep this team stay in contention throughout all the adversity they have encountered.

After playing a meaningful role on another playoff team last year with the Clippers, Gordon made the move to Phoenix and has actually seen more playing time this year with the Suns. His shooting numbers may be down a little, but as the old adage goes, availability is the best ability.

Eric has certainly excelled in that regard. He has appeared in 53 of the team's 65 games, giving him more games played than Devin Booker and Bradley Beal this season. His shooting from beyond the arc and defensive capability are what have made him one of Phoenix's most valuable role players in 2023-24.

This summer, Gordon will have a player option for the 2024-25 season with the Suns. Should he decline the option, he can seek new deals with other teams. Given his production this year and considering the element of continuity, Phoenix should be trying their hardest to retain him.
