Jeff Green
He is known colloquially as "Uncle Jeff" around the NBA for his successful long tenure in the league. Playing for 11 different NBA franchises in his 17 years in the association, Jeff Green has done it all and has the respect of nearly everyone around the league for his consistent production and standup professionalism.
Taking home his first NBA championship in 2022-23 with Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets, Jeff added to what was already a respectable resume. After earning All-Rookie honors in 2007-08 with what was then the Seattle Supersonics, Green finished in the top 25 for Most Improved honors his sophomore season.
He averaged at least 10 points per game for 11 of the first 13 years he took the court in the NBA. A versatile player with no glaring deficiencies, Jeff has remained productive for years due to his strong work ethic and willingness to adapt his role to whatever his team needs.
Appearing in the playoffs in 10 different seasons and being there to witness a great deal of basketball evolution in his time, Green is the perfect veteran for any NBA team, especially for one vying for a championship. The Suns should do everything they can to bring him in on a vet minimum deal this summer.
