5 former Suns who would be allowed back for title celebrations

If the Phoenix Suns do ever win a first NBA championship, these five former players are definitely allowed into the locker room to celebrate.

1. Charles Barkley

There can be only one answer here, and that is Charles Barkley. Although the all-time great is outspoken on plenty of topics, he has always had a soft spot for his Suns. In fact it is harder to picture title celebrations without Barkley than it is with him at the center of events.

His presence would go beyond the night itself, and it is easy to imagine Barkley at the open top bus parade as well. For those wondering why Steve Nash isn't on this list - be it in place of Barkley or elsewhere - he already got to bask in the glory of championship success as a trainer with the Golden State Warriors.

He's a Suns legend forever, but Barkley feels like the grandfather of the franchise at this point. Joining in with Booker would be a great link from past to present, and it would be a full-circle moment for the organization. Now all the Suns have to do is actually win a championship, to see which guys, if any, pull a Grant Williams and show up.
