3. Eric Gordon

Like Lee, Eric Gordon also has a player option for next season, and you can be sure he is going to take it. The reason for this? The 35-year-old was a massive disappointment for the Suns, so much so that there's no guarantee he'd even get another offer to stay in the league if he decided to become an unrestricted free agent.

Gordon's tenure had promised so much for the team, and he was a real get when they convinced him to take the veteran's minimum over two seasons to come to The Valley. The reality was very different though, and by season's end he was losing out on minutes to Bol Bol some nights.

Shooting 37.8 percent from deep was not even a bad number, but Gordon failed to be the connector on the offensive end that it was hoped he could be. On the defensive end he didn't help much either - and although his stout frame is capable of making life difficult for bigger players - this did not happen often.

Really Gordon was the one Suns player who you were most likely to forget was on the court at any given moment, and his public complaining about his role early in the campaign set what would be an unhappy tone that the team could never truly escape. Gordon will be back, and the Suns' front office will wish that he was looking elsewhere to play.
