Dallas Mavericks
The Dallas Mavericks have solved how to play Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving over the summer. Together, they've led the Mavericks to a stellar 12-8 season.
They're yet to play the Suns this season; their first game against each other will be on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2023. Most of Dallas' wins came from struggling teams, and their losses came against playoff teams.

Even with that, the Suns shouldn't disregard the Mavs. The front office has done a great job surrounding Doncic with a decent supporting cast. They're a solid offensive team, ranking fifth in points around the association. Dallas has the fourth-best offensive rating, with 118.6. The team recently won against the Utah Jazz with a 50-point margin.
The Suns don't boast the best defense right now, but many hope they'll work on it throughout the season. If they match up against the Texas team in a seven-game series, there's no guarantee the team will have a trouble-free series.
