2. Mo Bamba
This would have been an absolute disaster. The reason Mo Bamba - a former sixth overall pick in the NBA Draft - keeps getting chances is because he's tall. But having failed to make an impact on some terrible Orlando Magic teams, and then followed that up with single season stints with the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers, tells you all you need to know.
At this point it is fair to ask just how much better Bamba is than Bol - if at all - because at least Bol has some unique offensive skills that can be used for small bursts in a game. Bamba on the other hand is supposed to patrol the paint on the defensive end, yet he looks like he's never really bulked up at all.
Still somehow only 26-years-old, imagine if he had taken the position of Plumlee on this roster. The moment Jusuf Nurkic checked out of a game the team would have fallen off a cliff defensively. Nurkic himself is limited in what he can do, although there's no doubt he's still a starting calibre center.
Bamba just doesn't really do any one thing well - and perhaps worst of all - never looks like he feels any pressure on the court to do anything. It's one thing to be emotionless if you're a killer like Kawhi Leonard (his new teammate), quite another when you've averaged seven points and just over five boards for your career. The lack of motor would have infuriated The Valley.
