3 former Suns who have seriously struggled since leaving The Valley

When it comes to these three departed players, none have managed to reach the highs they experienced while playing for the Phoenix Suns.

1, Frank Kaminsky

Was this entire list put together just so we could talk about Frank Kaminsky? Not quite, although it is interesting both how far he fell off after leaving the Suns, and how he could potentially do an important job for the team if he was there now.

Kaminsky was certainly one of those college standouts from his time in Wisconsin who just never took off in the league, despite having the tools to do so. A legit seven footer, his three seasons in Phoenix were about as bland as it gets. This despite the Suns actually being really good throughout most of his time in The Valley.

Perhaps if the now 31-year-old was there today, he could have a Sam Hauser like impact for that group. Just come off the bench for 15 minutes each night and take a ton of 3-pointers. Kaminsky only took 2.4 a night when with the Suns, at a rate of 34.4 percent.

But if this group can employ Bol Bol for a second season, then there surely would have been space for the Kaminsky of old. Instead he now plays professionally in Serbia - and although it wasn't even great when he was with the Suns - it absolutely only got worse from there. Right player slightly ahead of his time, or just a not very good player who was never going to stick anywhere? You decide.
