Jalen Green has appeared in only two games for the Phoenix Suns this season, and he didn't even finish the second one as a result of another flare up of his hamstring issues.
He hasn't been seen since, except for when he is on the sidelines cheering on his teammates and generally contributing to the great vibes in The Valley this season.
Green receives $25k fine for expletive on live TV
Tuesday night saw the 23-year-old take his enthusiasm a step too far, as he was caught on live television bigging teammate Collin Gillespie up after another excellent performance in the win over the Washington Wizards.
Jalen Green: “They can’t even fu*k with you.”

Collin Gillespie: “Oh my god. On live TV, bro?”
Jalen Green: “I don’t care.”

As you can see from the video above, even Gillespie himself was shocked that Green went ahead and said that, before doubling down with his insistence that he didn't care.
Obviously on a family network you have to keep it clean, and so we don't condone saying things like that when children are listening. But also... how high are the vibes right now?
To have what the Suns hope to be their second best player that engaged in another excellent Gillespie showing is part of the reason why this group is going to make the playoffs this season.
There was another part to all of this playing out the way that it did that again proves how together this roster is, and it came with center Mark Williams away from the arena watching the game on television.
He was serving a ridiculous one-game ban for his dust up with Jose Alvarado, but there was clearly never any doubt that he wasn't going to check the game out from what looked to be his hotel room.
On his story on Instagram Williams also called Gillespie his "twin", which is another subtle nod to the chemistry the Suns have cooking right now.
It might have cost Green $25,000 but in the long run by the looks of things, that is not going to matter for him or this group. Even if that's technically $12,500 per game played this season.
Green let the moment get the better of him, but that was only because he (like all of us) was enjoying a four game win streak, tied for the longest in the Western Conference currently.
If the Suns can defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers next time out who knows what Green might do, best to keep him away from a hot mic just in case.
