Injury status of Jalen Green has finally been updated

About time.

The Phoenix Suns keep winning games, although it would be nice if Jalen Green was in the mix as we pass the halfway point in the campaign.

Even Devin Booker is growing tired of not having his co-star out there, although the rest of the roster has stepped up admirably in his absence.

Green upgraded to questionable for meeting with Nets

Which is why it was a huge boost to see the 23-year-old upgraded to questionable for the first time in a long time, ahead of Monday's meeting with the Brooklyn Nets.

There is still no guarantee that he will actually play, Booker is also listed as questionable, but that might give us the biggest hint yet that he will in fact suit up.

Booker rolled his ankle in the loss to the Miami Heat, but came back in the fourth-quarter of that game before sitting out the defeat at the hands of the Detroit Pistons altogether.

When the Suns arrived in Madison Square Garden he was a game time decision, before going on to lead his team to another massive win. Always there when they need him is D-Book.

To go back to being questionable again is as likely to mean Phoenix wants him to sit out what should be a winnable game even without him, so as to give his ankle some rest.

Or he actually is fine after playing 38 minutes against the New York Knicks, and the franchise is going to hit their fanbase that both go from questionable to available at the same time.

It might seem like we're overthinking it, but the timeline is going to be buzzing if that does end up being the case. Picking up a win over the Nets would make it all the sweeter.

No matter how this plays out, it looks likely we'll see Green by the end of this six game road trip. We're halfway through it and there are still meeting with the Philadelphia 76ers and Atlanta Hawks once they're done in Gotham.

If they can keep him healthy for essentially the second half the regular season, then they are surely going to make the playoffs proper and perhaps avenge a terrible defeat on their way to doing so.

With the trade deadline looming, Green is going to feel like a new signing for the organization given he has only appeared (barely) in two games so far this campaign. What a boost.
