In case you missed it, and really anything regarding Draymond Green is hard to miss, he was at it again in the most recent meeting between the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors.

Collin Gillespie has already spoken to the media about what went down, but the future Hall of Famer and Warriors great didn't stop there.

In their following game against the Orlando Magic, which like the Suns meeting ended up in a win for Golden State, Green left the bench after an apparent bust-up with head coach Steve Kerr.

Suns can't let Dillon Brooks get tuned out like Green in future

What does all of this have to do with Dillon Brooks? The player who The Valley took to immediately, and who they love having around this team because of how much he cares?

It's simple really, that's exactly how the Warriors felt about Green for so many of their title runs and best days. Only at 35-years-old and with his abilities on the decline, nobody is paying him the same attention anymore.

The way that Green and Brooks conduct themselves each night is incredibly effective, because it holds teammates accountable and acts as a source of energy during a long regular season.

But when you are turned up to 11 like that all the time, it eventually wears down teammates and coaches alike. Winning at the highest level masks that, but the Warriors won't be doing that again anytime soon.

Instead on a roster with veteran stars like Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler III, plus a coach in Kerr who has seen it all, it eventually gets annoying. The Suns have to make sure Brooks never gets to this point in Phoenix.

To be clear, we are so far away from that right now that it is not a concern. But if the Suns fail to make the playoffs this season, as many expect them to, and also stutter next year, how much will everybody love the in your face style of Brooks?

On the other hand if they do make the postseason and then give a better opponent a scare in the opening round, and with Brooks playing his part in that, he will buy himself so much more time to continue with the intensity that he shows.

Green made an incredibly successful career out of doing just that, but now he is becoming a distraction. We all love Brooks, but that doesn't mean the franchise should not proceed with caution.

We already got a worrying glimpse of what that can look like, ironically in the loss to the Warriors, and we all know that outbursts like this will happen again with Brooks.
