1. Bradley Beal

The Suns gave up all of their draft capital to land Bradley Beal. It was a true a strong push to build a Big 3 and make them title contenders. Phoenix has an elite offense and three All-Stars on their roster. They believe that is enough to contend for the championship, but their depth and defense will be tested throughout the year.

The Suns are limited in how they can upgrade their roster even if they want to trade Bradley Beal. They will have their 2031 pick to trade in the summer of 2024 along with six second-rounders. It isn’t enough to deal the 30-year-old for a bigger star.

Beal’s no-trade clause came with him to Phoenix. He will control the negotiations again if he decides to move on. The Suns do not have room to maneuver, and trading Beal means taking a step backward, at least in top-end talent.

The 6’4 guard has averaged over 22 points per game for seven straight years, but can he pick things up on the defensive end of the floor? The Suns need him locked in and getting stops if they want to win it all.

The Phoenix Suns roster overhaul will stick. They acquired multiple long-term pieces this offseason and figure to have a three-year window to compete for championships. Can they bring their first title back to the Valley of the Suns? Stay tuned to find out.
