Phoenix Suns target No. 4 – Kyrie Irving

This will certainly be the most controversial name on this list, but it would not be the first time the Suns and Kyrie Irving have been linked. Before Irving was traded to the Dallas Mavericks this past season, the Suns were among the teams interested in him, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania. If that interest is still lingering, they could make a run at Irving once again this off-season.

Despite his off-court issues, Irving is still among the best point guards in the game today, and few players can put together highlight plays as frequently as he can. He can score, shoot, and facilitate extremely well and would immediately form one of the best offensive trios in league history in the desert. Like the aforementioned Harden, Irving also has experience playing alongside Durant, and they were pretty dang good when they were on the court healthy.

Irving is set to be an unrestricted free agent this off-season, and there is no telling what he may do. On the one hand, he could stay with the Dallas Mavericks, which seems to be the most likely outcome at this point. However, it would not be surprising if Irving shocked the NBA and signed a deal with someone like Phoenix. Ultimately, only time will tell, but the Suns should be interested in Irving if he is willing to relocate this off-season.
