We could have a Western Conference Finals preview on our hands if everything lines up that way in the standings. The fans in Phoenix got their first look at their new toy, Kevin Durant on Wednesday, but he only had 16 points. That offense might be firing on all cylinders against Denver tonight.

Will Nikola Jokic have enough to hang around, or better yet will he even be on the floor? The back-to-back MVP is questionable for this one. Let’s get into the prop market for this matchup in Phoenix.

Nuggets vs. Suns best NBA prop bets

Kevin Durant OVER 22.5 points (-105)
Chris Paul OVER 8.5 assists (-130)
Deandre Ayton UNDER 8.5 rebounds (+104)

Kevin Durant OVER 22.5 points (-105)

It’s not often that you’ll get KD with a point total this low. Coming off a 16 points performance in his return from injury, it might be scary to back Durant, but not for me. He was forcing things Thursday night and had Jaden McDaniels or Anthony Edwards draped over him all night, not exactly a soft landing after a few weeks off. I think he’ll let it come to him more and this is my favorite bet of the night.

Chris Paul OVER 8.5 assists (-130)

I’d say that it is pretty clear CP3 is losing a little bit offensively at his advanced age. He had 19 points on Wednesday and only six assists, but he’s a distributor at heart. He sees all of the weapons on the floor with him and he’ll find a way to get KD, Booker, and especially Ayton into advantageous spots against Jokic and the Nuggets.

Deandre Ayton UNDER 8.5 rebounds (+104)

Speaking of Ayton. He only had three rebounds against Minnesota. A lot of that has to do with Karl Anthony-Towns pulling him away from the basket on defense plus Rudy Gobert had 15 boards. Jokic is going to do both, he’ll pull Ayton away like KAT and then dominate him inside when they’re both down low.
