After one of their most impressive victories of the season Tuesday night in Memphis, the short-handed Phoenix Suns followed it up with a disastrous performance in D.C. against the Wizards, falling by 25 in a 127-102 blowout.

They’ll look to bounce back in the midst of their road trip against a Toronto Raptors team that’s lost their last two games at home, and struggling to find their identity throughout the season.

Phoenix is just 6-11 away from home, and finds themselves as short underdogs on the road north of the border.

Here are the latest odds, plus our Suns vs. Raptors best bet to consider for tonight.

Suns vs. Raptors Prediction and Pick

The Suns’ defensive presence finally showed up in that big road victory in Memphis, and the offense looked efficient and balanced balanced with eight different players scoring in double figures. While Wednesday’s blowout loss was on a back-to-back, it’s the all-or-nothing effort that is maddening for Suns fans or bettors with this team.

So how should bettors attack tonight? By going right back to the well, of course, against a far-worse team.

According to Covers, Phoenix has won five consecutive games ATS playing on one day’s rest, and are 5-3-0 this year as an underdog with a ATS +/- of +1.9.

Meanwhile, the Raptors simply look lost right now.

In December, Toronto owns the fifth-worst net rating in the league; only ahead of bottom-feeders such as Charlotte, San Antonio, Houston and Detroit.

Even with all the injuries piling up for Phoenix, I like them to cover the short number away from home.
