Ranking every single Phoenix Suns from Tuesday’s dominant win over the Golden State Warriors (4-7).

7. Cameron Payne

His best game for the season and realistically, he’s been solid three out of the four games. Payne has rediscovered some of his burst and finishing at the rim, including some difficult ones as he had eight points on 3-for-6 shooting. Ran the offense effectively with five assists, while also adding four rebounds.

6. Torrey Craig

Backed up his game against the Clippers with another solid performance. Two triples in the first period were vitally important, finishing with eight points on 3-for-4 shooting overall. Surprised he didn’t play more than 10 minutes, but perhaps Williams wanted to match fire with fire in such an offensive-minded game for the majority.

5. Jock Landale

Happy Birthday! Golden State were eager to switch on most pick-and-rolls, and Landale took full advantage as a dominant presence in the paint. The offensive versatility continues to be on show, while he’s also becoming a genuine rim protector on the defensive end as well. 17 points and seven rebounds in 22 minutes, with the Suns +27 with him on the floor in an ultra-impressive display.

4. Deandre Ayton

Could have easily had Landale ahead of him on this list, particularly given it wasn’t Ayton’s best performance. However, his ability to control the glass was a key reason behind the Suns dominant victory. That was especially the case in the first half where he had 12 points and 11 rebounds, including a couple of tip-ins as he took advantage of the Warriors small-ball lineup to close the half. 16 points and 14 rebounds overall, numbers that should have been more given he left some jump hooks on the doorstep.
