3. Phoenix Suns land versatile scorer Bojan Bogdanovic

Croatian Bojan Bogdanovic presents as the most impactful of the three trade candidates. Subsequently, he’ll likely require the most value going back the other way.

The 6’7″ wing projects as a perfect addition to the Suns roster. A deadly three-point shooter who can also create his own shot, Bogdanovic’s offensive versatility would be an ideal fit next to the Suns’ All-Star backcourt of Chris Paul and Devin Booker.

Unlike Conley and Clarkson, Bogdanovic would likely command a starting role at the Suns. That means the key question for the front office is, how much of an upgrade would Bogdanovic be to Jae Crowder?

His offense means he would be a better option, even if losing Crowder meant taking a hit on the defensive end of the floor. Here’s what deal could take place –

"Phoenix Receive: Bojan Bogdanovic Utah Receive: Jae Crowder, Dario Saric, Top 10 Protected 2025 First-Round Pick"

Even though Bogdanovic is an upgrade to Crowder, the latter’s familiarity with the system means the front office won’t want to give up too much more than Crowder himself.

Saric is included to match salaries, with Bogdanovic set to make $19.3 million on the last year of his contract. The Suns may also need to add a first-round pick, though, again, the front office would want to include some protection on it.

Taken in the second round of the 2011 NBA draft, Bogdanovic averaged 18.1 points and shot 38.7% from three last season.

A potential starting five of Paul, Booker, Mikal Bridges, Bogdanovic and Ayton could prove to be one of the most dynamic offensive lineups in all of basketball.
