Phoenix Suns Summer League Players to Watch: Duop Reath
Duop Reath knows how to play at a variety of levels, including the Summer League, where he even suited up for the Dallas Mavericks and Brooklyn Nets in the past. However, his experience runs deeper than that.
After playing two years at LSU, Reath also played in various overseas leagues including the NBL. He also won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games for the Australian National team last year.
But now, the six-foot-eleven power forward/center finds himself with a chance to break into the Suns organization after earning a spot on their Summer League squad.

With his aforementioned height, seven-foot-three wingspan, and being a willing 3-point shooter who even shot 42.2 percent from range in his last season with LSU, Reath fits that “unicorn” build all NBA GMs are after right now.
His raw skills make him highly unlikely to push for a roster spot with the Suns, but he still resembles a guy able to do things on the court which almost nobody else can. Watching him promises to be a fun ride.
