Phoenix Suns Key Factors vs Dallas Mavericks: Guard Play
The NBA right now is a guard driven league. Teams go as far as their wing depth star guards will take them. With Doncic not available for Dallas’s first three games, we saw Jalen Brunson step up to the plate.
The former Villanova Wildcat averaged over 28 points per game in the series and established himself as a scorer well equipped to take some pressure off of Doncic.
With the addition of Spencer Dinwiddie, the Mavericks possess scorers all over the court. Phoenix will need their guards to step up on both ends of the floor and match Dallas’ play.
Paul, Booker, and Mikal Bridges will have a heavy load to bear against these highly talented Mavericks. Keep an eye out to see how they handle any switches on defense and keep up a high motor after a grueling first bout vs New Orleans.
