Phoenix Suns Observation #2: Marcus Morris is One of the Most Underrated Players in the NBA

A quick shoutout to former Suns forward Marcus Morris! Morris has always delivered in the clutch for his current team, the Los Angeles Clippers. Their game against the Pelicans was no different, although the result was neither what Morris nor the Clippers wanted.

Mook scored 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds in LA’s losing effort last night. He brought energy and intensity to a team reeling from losing Paul George due to his last-minute entry into the health and safety protocols.

Morris is a throwback enforcer in the modern day NBA. He has always been a problem for the Suns, especially during last season’s Western Conference Finals. Morris is earning every last bit of his substantial paycheck with his superior play over the last few seasons, and cannot be forgotten about next year even when Kawhi Leonard and George return.
