Time to run through the Six. Facing off against the Toronto Raptors tonight, the Phoenix Suns return to the hardwood for the first time since hosting the Miami Heat on Saturday night.

Missing Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, the Heat still bullied the Suns all night long during that game, splashing home 22 shots from beyond the arc. Phoenix obviously wants to bounce back tonight, but Raptors find themselves on a six game winning streak, wanting to keep their momentum alive all the same.

Phoenix Suns vs Toronto Raptors Odds, Moneyline, Over/Under

According to WynnBET, the Suns are favored at -4.5 point spread. Their moneyline odds are -190, and the game’s over/under currently sits at 223.0 points.

Even with the Suns struggling to find their footing recently and the Raptors looking red hot, Phoenix still carries the more talented roster with the likes of Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, and Chris Paul compared to Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, and OG Anunoby.

Phoenix still sits tied for the league’s best record, and without any major injuries, deserved to be favored in just about every game they play. Toronto’s hot streak and home court advantage gives them the benefit of a smaller spread, but make no mistake about it, this is Phoenix’s game to lose.

The over/under calls for a high scoring affair. The Suns already carry the second-highest scoring offense in the league and with the Raptors on a tear, scoring over 115 points in five of their last six games, oddsmakers naturally foresee a true shootout going down tonight.

Phoenix Suns vs Toronto Raptors Lineups

It may not feel like it with starters Ayton and Jae Crowder back, but the Suns continue to deal with some injuries. They will be without Cameron Johnson, Frank Kaminsky, and Ish Wainright tonight, but are lucky to see their typical starting five take the floor.

  • PG: Chris Paul
  • SG: Devin Booker
  • SF: Mikal Bridges
  • PF: Jae Crowder
  • C: Deandre Ayton

Rookie phenom Scottie Barnes is out for tonight’s game, as is Gary Trent Jr. So with that, the Raptors will have to scramble a bit, but can still feature its main stars in VanVleet and Siakam.

  • PG: Fred VanVleet
  • SG:  Malachi Flynn
  • SF: OG Anunoby
  • PF: Khem Birch
  • C: Pascal Siakam

Phoenix Suns vs Toronto Raptors Prediction

Fred VanVleet’s excellence over the past few days cannot be challenged in any way. However, Toronto’s wins as a team during that stretch remain suspect when you really get down to it.

Across their six game win streak, they took quality wins on paper against the Milwaukee Bucks, Utah Jazz, and Los Angeles Clippers. But in those games, Giannis Antetonkoumpo, Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell, Mike Conley, and Paul George sat out.

Facing a healthy Suns team, Phoenix exposes them tonight, beating down on the Raptors and covering their spread with ease.

Final: Phoenix Suns 117, Toronto Raptors 102

Phoenix Suns Up Next

Following this game, the Suns stay on the road to face the Indiana Pacers after taking another two days off. The Pacers remain a far more talented team than their record might imply, still carrying Domantas Sabonis, Caris LeVert, and Myles Turner to name a few young studs.

But still, the Suns should take them down no problem. Indiana remains well outside the playoff picture and resembles a ticking time bomb, with rumors constantly going around about their intentions to blow everything up sooner rather than later.
