Phoenix Suns Players Ranked Offensively: Top Tier
#1 Devin Booker
Every list describing the entire NBA’s top scorers features Devin Booker toward its top, so naturally, he leads things off here for the Suns. Booker averaged a career high 37.5 points per 100 possessions last year, and with him now coming into his prime, that number will only rise. Honestly, Booker deserves his own tier with regard to this list, and if he learns to shoot a higher clip from beyond the arc, he might even challenge for the NBA’s scoring title.
#2 Chris Paul
Even though Paul showed some scoring decline last year, his assist numbers never failed to disappoint. He averaged 8.9 dimes per contest last season, the third most across the entire NBA. He might go surpassed by either Ayton or Bridges next season as a scorer, but his use as a facilitator and clutch instincts still keep him as this team’s second best offensive player.
#3 Deandre Ayton
With Ayton having put up record-breaking efficiency numbers during the postseason last year, Monty Williams likely noticed, and drew up some more plays to feed him down low this year. Also like Booker, he has youth on his side, likely to improve this coming year, as well as those that follow. Watch for Ayton to fully take over as this team’s third scoring option.
