Phoenix Suns #5 Ranked Uniforms: Road (1992-2000)

As the first uniforms catalogued here to fully illustrate the iconic “fireball” sun, these uniforms need no introduction. NBA legends including Charles Barkley, Steve Nash, Jason Kidd, Kevin Johnson, and Dan Majerle wore them at different times, naturally making them legendary by association.

But even if you discount their relation to a few Hall-of-Famers, these uniforms still deserve a spot in Springfield, MA.

Filled with color, you can stare at these threads over and over again and still feel entertained. The inflated and white lettering out front really pops out as well due to its bright nature contrasted with the dark purple background.

The Suns also posted a .631 winning percentage wearing these uniforms. They check all the boxes, and stack up today as arguably the best throwbacks in the league.
