Phoenix Suns #8 Ranked Uniforms: Statement Edition (2019-Present)

Last year, the NBA struck a deal with Jordan Brand allowing them to design at least one jersey for every team. For the Suns, it lead to a relatively basic all orange look, featuring the sun logo at the jersey’s center.

As a callback to Phoenix’s “seven seconds or less” era, these uniforms do well to reflect the intensity and pride oozing from the team’s fanbase during the “Planet Orange” days. The Suns also unveiled these uniforms at the perfect time, with the team wearing them as they made their return to notoriety for the first time since those Mike D’Antoni days.

But the only issue with these jerseys lies with their over-simplicity. They somewhat look like soccer jerseys, and seem to miss something extra, even if you cannot exactly put your finger on it.

Regardless, they still look clean and represent the team’s history effectively.
