Phoenix Suns #9 Ranked Uniforms: Icon Edition (2017-Present)

The “Icon Edition” threads which the Suns wore these last few years do very little right, but also do absolutely nothing wrong. Filled from top to bottom with purple coloring as well as white and orange flashes by its sides, you know exactly what team wears these uniforms upon seeing them.

The tight lettering and which simply spells out “Phoenix” gives the jersey a sharp look, but outside from that, not much else exists to look at. These jerseys also omit from including an actual sun logo, except for an incredibly small one only visible around the belt area.

Phoenix last wore these during their victorious playoff series vs the Los Angeles Lakers. But the greatest singular moment that occurred for the Suns while wearing these uniforms came from the season before, when Devin Booker hit his trademark fallaway shot at the buzzer to beat the Los Angeles Clippers and stay undefeated within the NBA bubble.
