Phoenix Suns 2021-22 Season Predictions: October

October 20 vs Denver Nuggets: Win

The Suns looked unstoppable against the Nuggets during the postseason, especially while on their own floor. With this being their home opener, the arena will be absolutely rocking, and the momentum will carry the Suns to a blowout win with Denver still missing Jamal Murray.

October 22 at Los Angeles Lakers: Win

The Lakers pose and incredible threat to the Suns, no doubt about it. But with this being only their second game playing with a newly constructed roster, it looks like one likely to feature some growing pains on their behalf. Contrarily, Phoenix remains a well-oiled machine with nearly all its pieces intact from last year. For that reason, they overcome Los Angeles in a close one.

October 23 at Portland Trail Blazers: Loss

Without any time to rest after a likely bruising matchup against the Lakers, the Suns lose this second part to their first back-to-back. Watch for a big game from Damian Lillard, as he likely leaves the exhausted Suns gasping for air.

October 27 vs Sacramento Kings: Win

The Kings once again look likely to miss the playoffs and with the Suns welcoming them into Phoenix after enjoying a three day rest period, they become overpowered exponentially. The Suns move back into the win column here in blowout fashion.

October 30 vs Cleveland Cavaliers: Win

Playing a team filled with centers should be interesting to say the least, especially for Deandre Ayton. But Cleveland still lacks the general talent to hang with the Suns, setting up another easy win for Phoenix at home.

Phoenix Suns record through October: 4-1
