Phoenix Suns All-Stars in 2021-22: Chris Paul

Chris Paul stands as no stranger to the All-Star Game, having gone to it 11 times during his career across his 16 seasons as a pro.

The “Point God” is currently coming off of two straight All-Star runs, both with different teams. He undoubtedly brought things together as the missing piece for the Suns last year, earning praise while the regular ran its course. After eventually transforming Phoenix from a non-playoff team into a two-seed over just a few a months, his 2021 selection became inevitable.

Paul now returns to the Suns for another season after inking a four-year deal during free agency this summer. But if he dictates the game like he managed to last season, no reason exists to boast poor chances for him to earn a 12th All-Star selection, tying for the 15th most all-time by a single player.

Russell Westbrook, another critically acclaimed and talented point guard, and his return back out West might complicate things for him. But who knows how that age-filled experiment might go down.

Also with the new-look roster Phoenix carries into the 2021-22 season, many expect Paul to finish among the top five in assists. This alone will have him in heavy consideration to join Booker, and punch his ticket to Cleveland.
