Phoenix Suns Stat #3: Devin Booker’s Points Per Game

Devin Booker has averaged 30.0 points per game in this series, even with an uncharacteristically-poor 10-point outing in Game 3. For each other game though, Booker has averaged an impressive 35.0 points per contest.

In the last two games, he has exceeded the 40-point mark as well. He knows PJ Tucker cannot stay in front of him, and with that acknowledged—often wastes little time in getting to the basket.

Ultimately, his offense will have to carry the Suns for most of the game. Booker will have to score at least 30 points for the Suns to have a chance. With Paul slowed down by injury and the relentless Holiday nipping at his heels, Booker is the only man to lead the Suns to a potential Game 7.

Conclusion:

The rebounding and turnover battles must be won if Phoenix wants to keep their title quest alive. Booker’s offensive brilliance must also shine through brighter than ever for a full 48 minutes.

There is nothing new about what is being said here—but it is a reminder of how the Suns can win games, which they have not been able to do for over a week now. Enjoy the game tonight, hopefully it will not be our last time doing so this year.
