Matt Moore joins Episode 43 of the Valley of the Suns Podcast to discuss the Devin Booker hero ball debate, Game 6 necessities for the Phoenix Suns and what’s going on with Chris Paul. Plus, ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’!
Welcome to another episode of the Valley of the Suns Podcast, Valley Boyz and Girlz!
In Episode 43, host Gerald Bourguet is joined by Matt Moore (a.k.a. Hardwood Paroxysm) of The Action Network to discuss Game 5 of the NBA Finals and what to expect heading into a do-or-die Game 6 on the road.
Before Moore hops on, Bourguet switches things up and starts off the show with his latest G-Rated segment on Space Jam: A New Legacy. Does the LeBron James sequel to the legendary Space Jam stack up to the original? How is the King’s acting? And will adults find anything good in this children’s movie?
After that, Moore joins to discuss his take on Devin Booker “hero ball” in Games 4 and 5 after getting in some hot water with Phoenix Suns fans on Twitter. After Booker dropped 40 points in back-to-back losses, the two debate how he and the Suns’ offense need to function in order to optimize his scoring ability.
The duo also discuss the bigger reasons Phoenix lost Game 5 beyond Booker’s iso-heavy third quarter in the midst of a dominant performance, like that abysmal second quarter and the Milwaukee Bucks’ Big 3 simply shooting the lights out.
From there, the episode hones in on whether Chris Paul is 100 percent, and then finishes with what the Suns need to do in Game 6 in order to force a Game 7.
