Phoenix Suns Important NBA Finals Players: #7 Cameron Johnson

Thank goodness Cameron Johnson is back and feeling well. As a player that has started multiple times for the Suns this year, he will need to play just like a starter off the bench.

Both Johnson and Payne will guide the second unit on offense and defense, while the starters rest up. Especially with the Suns having shown some fatigue during their series with the Los Angeles Clippers, it remains imperative that their bench unit holds its own, and allows their bigger stars stay energized.

If Johnson can just knock down one or two 3-pointers a game, and make stops on the defensive end, he makes Phoenix’s deep team that much more dangerous. He certainly possesses the tools to do so, with this 6’8 frame, while posting a 45.1 3-point shooting percentage in the postseason thus far.
