Phoenix Suns Important NBA Finals Players: #4 Jae Crowder

As stated previously, Crowder is the only player between the two teams that has any Finals experience. This alone makes him one of the most important players for the Suns.

He is going to be responsible for helping contain the team’s emotions throughout the entire series, which we know could run high given the gravity which the Finals carry.

We hope to see consistency behind the perimeter from Crowder, too. If he is knocking his 3-pointers down, it automatically opens the offense up for Booker, Paul, and Ayton to go to work. Crowder also bears a defensive skill set allowing him to guard any opponent’s top player.

Other than his experience though, his intensity will be needed more than anything. Crowder’s energy on the floor can break an opponent, while getting the Suns going all at once. He missed out on a chance to win a title last year, hopefully takes all the steps necessary to not do so once again.
