In Episode 32 of the Valley of the Suns Podcast, it’s time to dive into takeaways from a disappointing Game 3, adjustments for Game 4 and Netflix’s “Shadow and Bone.”

Welcome to another episode of the Valley of the Suns Podcast, Valley Boyz and Girlz!

To kick off Episode 32, it’s a bit of doom and gloom from host Gerald Bourguet after a disappointing showing in Game 3. With the Phoenix Suns down 2-1 in the series and desperately needing to steal Game 4 on the road to even out this first-round matchup, takeaways from that ugly Game 3 showing are of the top priority.

After pouring over the Suns’ shortcomings in that road loss, the latest episode then dives into adjustments for Game 4. Should Phoenix start Cameron Payne over the injured Chris Paul? How can the Suns make life easier on Devin Booker, and what should fans be expecting from Booker after such an underwhelming performance?

From all those questions to the issues of rebounding, protecting the paint and the backup center minutes, Bourguet has a few ideas for what the Suns need to improve in Game 4 to make sure this is still a series heading into Game 5.

Finally, for our first “G-Rated” segment in awhile, Netflix’s fantasy series Shadow and Bone takes the spotlight. Based on the Grisha Trilogy, this first season does a great job of world-building, but does it ever fully capitalize on its potential?
