Phoenix Suns small forward Mikal bridges final grade: B+

Mikal Bridges is quickly becoming a fan favorite in Phoenix. His ability to do virtually everything is what makes him so valuable to the team. Bridges’ stats all remained consistent at 13.3 points and 1.4 steals a game. His model of consistency is one of his best attributes this season

This season Bridges continued taking strides to become a better scorer. In the second half, he shot 56% from the field and 42% from deep. Not to discredit those numbers but Bridges doesn’t take too many shots but he doesn’t need to. His role isn’t to score the most points on the team but those numbers show a future where Bridges can be a second option on a good playoff team.

He is one of Phoenix’s players who doesn’t get much credit. His impact on the game isn’t shown on the stat sheet but fans know and value what he brings to the Suns. His model of consistency is one of his best attributes this season

The Suns ranked ninth in defensive rating this season and much of that comes from Bridges. He often is guarding the other team’s best player and that is a task he is up for.

He fits his role as a defensive forward who can hit 3s so well for this young Phoenix team. Bridges rewarded Phoenix for their trust in not including him in the Chris Paul trade.

Staying consistent from his midseason grade Bridges earns his B+
