In Episode 21 of the Valley of the Suns Podcast, the Phoenix Suns are learning to close games, Marc Gasol is worth keeping an eye on, and “Godzilla vs. Kong” is finally here.

Welcome, Valley Boyz and Girlz, to another episode of the Valley of the Suns Podcast!

In Episode 21, host Gerald Bourguet is forced to reconcile two undeniable truths: The Phoenix Suns have no business continually letting inferior opponents back in games, but they’re also learning to close games out in clutch situations. While it may feel frustrating to see the Suns fall into the same pattern over and over (particularly in the last few minutes of every third quarter), they are getting practice with late-game scenarios, which could pay off in the long run.

After this silver-lining approach to Phoenix’s last handful of games, Marc Gasol’s current situation with the Los Angeles Lakers takes centerstage. Big Spain doesn’t seem too happy with LA after the team acquired Andre Drummond, so could a buyout situation unfold soon? And if it does, would he be a good pickup for the Suns as their third big?

Finally, for the latest G-Rated segment, we have to talk about Godzilla vs Kong, the action-packed blockbuster everyone’s been waiting for. Does all the CGI action live up to the hype despite its predictably lackluster plot and dialogue?
