The reality and perception of Devin Booker are both interesting.

The reality is that Booker, along with Chris Paul, is leading the Suns to the playoffs — the first such appearance of his career and first for Phoenix since 2010.

He’s ramping up his performance, too, with his post-All-Star-Game averages of 25.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists a step up from those he posted before the break (24.9, 3.6 , 4.4.)

But perception? Suns fans know he’s dedicated, fiercely competitive and on record with his affinity for Phoenix.

They know his team is on the right track, back home trying to stop Chicago on Wednesday night after an off-and-on road trip.

He also has a widely recognized connection with big-league social influencer Kendall Jenner.

So, what does Cosmopolitan magazine have to say about Phoenix Suns standout Devin Booker?

Well, for one, Booker “plays for the NBA.”

Let’s see what other gems the pop-culture experts had to say.

"Who exactly is the man who stole Kendall’s heart? Well, we’ve got some details…along with some pretty interesting degrees of separation between him and some shady Kardashian friends. He plays for the NBADevin’s a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and basketball runs in his family: His father, Melvin, was the 1994 Big Eight Conference Player of the Year during his time in college. While he never managed to make the big leagues, he instilled the love of the game in his son, who eventually was drafted as a shooting guard to the Phoenix Suns in 2015. Love a family history moment."

The described Booker as a potential Olympian and cited his love for traveling (not the basketball kind).

A quick recap of Booker’s relationship is included.

"Devin and Kendall apparently have been boo’d up since April 2020The couple initially sparked rumors of a romance when they were seen driving from L.A. to Arizona. While it was reported at the time that they were just friends, by early summer, the duo’s tune changed from platonic to “hooking up.” But Kendall, being as in demand as she is, had plenty of options. According to Us Weekly, she reportedly had a few guys pursuing her at the same time. Same.Oh, and if you thought the two were good at keeping things under wraps…maybe? If you paid close attention to their respective IG posts, it turns out they’ve been Liking (and sometimes commenting on) each other’s accounts for quite a while!"

What kind of report would it be without a mention of Phoenix Suns’ leader Devin Booker’s prior romances?

"He has a past with Jordyn WoodsYikes. If there’s anyone who’s persona non grata to the Kardashians, it’s Kylie’s former BFF. But it seems like the past keeps coming to haunt them, because Devin and Jordyn supposedly were a thing back in 2018. That romance clearly went south, and when rumors began to swirl about Kendall and Devin, Jordyn’s reaction was to be petty over social media in a since-deleted tweet."

And bromances that began at least four years ago …

"Devin and Drake are actually pretty close friends. They’re so close that the NBA star is even name-dropped on the Drake and Travis Scott track “Sicko Mode”: “See the shots I took / Wet like I’m Book.” And if that’s not enough, Devin also made a cameo in the music video for Drake’s song “Chicago Freestyle.”Aside from the coolness factor, Devin is actually extremely appreciative of his friendship with the rapper. As he told NBA.com, “Drake’s my guy. We were just in Toronto recently, [and] he looked out for me. Drake’s a good guy. He’s like a big brother to me.”"

Now, perhaps, Booker fans know more about the Suns star than they really needed to know.
