Suns Podcast: Potential trade targets and Zack Snyder’s Justice League

In Episode 18, host Gerald Bourguet provides a quick update on the weekend’s fundraising efforts from last episode, Cameron Johnson’s return to action and Torrey Craig’s debut before tackling the big topic of the week: the 2021 NBA Trade Deadline and what the Phoenix Suns might do before Thursday arrives!

The Suns don’t have to make a move, but they should to go all in on a core that could be good enough to win a title with the right amount of tweaking. Envisioning what kinds of moves James Jones could make to improve his roster, Bourguet outlines 11 different trade targets — both big and small — that would upgrade the team’s starting 4-spot, the backup center position … and maybe even the starting center job itself.

While no one is giving up on Deandre Ayton just yet, it wouldn’t be trade season if we didn’t toss around a few ideas and weigh the potential pros and cons of each one. There’s a chance not one of these proposed deals comes to fruition, and the Suns would still be a good team if they stand pat, but in the interest of capitalizing on Chris Paul’s limited remaining window to contend, nothing can be ruled out just yet.

After exhausting the biggest potential trade targets for the Suns, Bourguet turns his attention to Zack Snyder’s Justice League for the latest “G-Rated” segment. How does DC’s four-hour cut of a bad movie turn out?
