The Suns do not get enough easy points at the foul line.

Although the Suns ranked 3rd best in the league at 82.8%, shortly before the break, in free throw percentage, they ranked dead last in attempts at 18.2 per game. They are only around league average in 3-point attempts and percentage though, which suggests that the team offense is not overly reliant on jump shooting like some analysts have warned.

Chris Paul and Devin Booker have been putting in the work to find ways to coexist within the offense. The progress from the start of the year to now is visible. Finding ways to generate points when defenses tighten up though will be a huge factor in how much noise this team makes in the postseason.
