The Phoenix Suns hope to make a postseason run in 2021

With a 6-2 start to the season, the Phoenix Suns have given their fans every reason to believe that the 8-0 run in the Orlando bubble was no mirage.

The abbreviated schedule, 72 games, increases the importance of every game (duh) and underscores the proactive approach the front office chose to pursue.

If anything, the undefeated bubble run inspired James Jones, et al, to move up the timeline for title contention. Jones seized the opportunity to acquire Chris Paul — the future Hall of Famer with a smallish window of elite value — at the expense of fan-favorite Kelly Oubre, while adding Jae Crowder and Langston Galloway to a talented, if youthful, cast of returning players.

So what do we have? Here’s a list of the top five most important Suns as the team seeks to snap a looooooong playoff drought.
