A look at the starting lineup and depth chart for the Phoenix Suns going into 2020-21

It seems like it has been forever since the Phoenix Suns amazing run in the Orlando Bubble ended, but the final signing of Dario Saric this week signals that the Suns have all of their big pieces in place and it’s now time to put them together to see how well they fit.

In a little over a week, Suns General Manager James Jones was able to put his stamp on the team and hopefully drive it to the next level. It will be Monty Williams’ job to get the team there and it all starts with getting the starters and depth chart set, as the season is around the corner with the NBA tipping off on Tuesday, December 22nd, a very nice Christmas present for the Suns fans.

The starters for the Phoenix Suns will look very similar to the Bubble Suns since those starters were a productive and cohesive unit. Using the same starters — with the exception of the Ricky Rubio/Chris Paul swap — will give the rest of the new players a chance to adapt to their new surroundings and teammates during this condensed preseason.

As we move closer to the season, Williams’ depth chart should start to solidify once he gets a look at how the new Suns are meshing with the current ones.

Let’s take a look at each position and the depth of players available.
