#10: Phoenix Suns | Devin Vassel

Devin Vassell is a 6’7″, 194-pounds shooting guard that can play small forward. He is a 3 and D player that with a little time is NBA ready. He does most things well and has a high defensive IQ.

His biggest negative is that he doesn’t have a quick burst so beating players to the basket, won’t be easy. He averaged 12.7 points hauled in 5 boards and shot almost 42% from three.

Vassell is a very solid player to bring in to spell Booker and also Mikal Bridges.

* I have a lot of interest in Aaron Nesmith here, but Vassell is a more rounded mature player and isn’t injury prone.
** My dark horse “Cam Johnson didn’t see it coming” pick, power forward Jalen Smith. But Vassell is my pick here.

Comparison:  Don’t look any further than the Phoenix Suns own Mikal Bridges, but with a better shot coming out of college more suited for shooting guard.
