#12: Sacramento Kings | Aaron Nesmith

The Kings are a mess and are in a rebuild mode, but I don’t think they know it yet. They need a small forward, power forward, and a center. They kinda need a shooting guard also, because it is all but certain they will trade Buddy Heild this season if not sooner.

They should hit up the Knicks as they are desperate for stars and they actually have assets to trade back. But they shouldn’t stop there most of the 1-8 draft sans the Warriors could use Heild.

If they stand pat, the Sacramento Kings with the 12th pick, they should select small forward, Aaron Nesmith from Vanderbilt.

Aaron Nesmith is a 6’6″, a 215-pound sharpshooter who averaged 23 points a game, 5 rebounds, 1.4 steals. He shot a blazing 52 percent from 3 point range.

Nesmith also has a high defensive IQ, but is injury prone. On offense, if he’s not bombing from three, he gets lost driving in the lane and has some tunnel vision where he doesn’t see his teammates for the better shot.
