#3: Charlotte Hornets | Anthony Edwards

As we pick up the pace, I think the top three “stars” of this draft (Edwards / Ball / Wiseman) are overrated I wouldn’t touch them.

With Charlotte drafting third, you don’t have a drafting genius, you have Michael Jordan. Assuming his mindset is disliking everything LaVar Ball.

With the 3rd Pick in the NBA Draft, the Charlotte Hornets select shooting guard Anthony Edwards, University of Georgia.

Edwards is 19 yrs old that is 6’5″, weighing in at 225 pounds. He shoots 40.% from the field, 29% from deep, and gets 1.3 steals a game.

Anthony Edwards is a load with his size and strength. He can get his own shot with that strength, but he has a very questionable shot selection and he makes poor decisions.

Also poor is his defense as he lacks effort, consistency, and has power forward feet on defense as he doesn’t move well. If you see someone on the other team going to the basket hard, then Edwards is more than likely the guy chasing him.

Comparable:  Dion Waiters.
