#6: New York Knicks | LaMelo Ball

Because of the way my draft has fallen, I am making a trade and sending the 6th pick from Atlanta to the Knicks for #8 and Kevin Knox.

With the 6th in the NBA Mock Lottery Draft, the New York Knicks pick…the wrong point guard…LaMelo Ball, Illawarra Hawks!

LaMelo is a skinny 6’7″ point guard that weighs in at 185 pounds. Ball shoots a cringe-worthy 37.5 percent from the field and 25 percent from three.

He’s an amazing passer with a great feel for the floor. A very good handle and quickness that can get him by most players and size towering over most point guards.

LaMelo actually shoots a pretty good floater but has bad form on his jumper and a horrible shot selection.

On defense, it’s probably just easier to play four on five. He loses his man, reaches, and sometimes just walks around cluelessly when his man doesn’t have the ball.

Comparison:  Some say D’Angelo Russell…but probably a better comparison would be Shaun Livingston coming out of school.
