Chicago Bulls

I am honestly not sure if this would be enough for Chicago, but acquiring Markannen and Satoransky would fill their two potential needs in one fell swoop: a true power forward who can spread the floor, and a backup guard who can initiate the offense and defend the multiple positions.

Cleveland Cavaliers

Cleveland reportedly values Nance quite a bit so they may balk at this, but Nance Jr. is one of the most underrated frontcourt players in the NBA.

His combination of athleticism, rebounding, passing, and basketball I.Q. would make him the perfect rotational big that could take the Suns to the next level.

Detroit Pistons

The Phoenix Suns were on the cusp of dealing for Kennard leading up to the trade deadline (doesn’t that feel like a different lifetime?) This deal would still make sense as Kennard would provide another potential 40 percent 3-point shooter who can pack some scoring punch and secondary ball handling.

Indiana Pacers

This, as of the last 48 hours, feels like it could be very realistic (Oladipo is on the block) and would definitely pique my interest and makes me tingle a little bit.

You could play lineups featuring Rubio-Oladipo-Booker-Bridges-Ayton or Oladipo-Booker-Bridges-Johnson-Ayton that would be very dangerous if Oladipo returns to per-injury form.

The major concern is if he fits well alongside Booker or Rubio. He clearly did not fit well alongside a ball-dominant guard in Russell Westbrook in Oklahoma City. Would an offense predicated on sharing the ball like the Suns work better to get the most out of Oladipo?

I am on board to find out.

Milwaukee Bucks

DJ Wilson is a super-athletic and active guy who can defend multiple positions and create his own shot. Simply put, he would be a guy in many NBA rotations, including the Phoenix Suns.
