#8: Charlotte Hornets: Isaac Okoro | Small Forward | Auburn

The word that best describes Isaac Okoro’s game is explosive. He is an exceptional athlete and leans into that ability on the basketball court. He is still a little bit raw, but the potential is definitely there.

For Auburn, he averaged just 12.9 points and 4.4 rebounds. The biggest area of improvement Okoro needs to make is in his shooting. He shot just 28.6 percent for Bruce Pearl’s team and was just a 67 percent free-throw shooter.

What he lacks in a jump shot, Okoro makes up for it around the rim. Despite his poor outside shooting, he is a strong finisher in the paint as his overall field goal percentage is 51.4.

The Charlotte Hornets need everything, so they will likely pick the best player available. Athletes of Okoro’s caliber are hot commodities in the NBA, so he would be a tough player for the Hornets to pass on at #8.
