#10: Phoenix Suns: Devin Vassel | Shooting Guard | Florida State

Why have one Devin on your team when you can have two? With all the emphasis on finding a point guard, the Phoenix Suns overcompensated and have a roster full of mediocre ones and only one shooting guard.

This has forced the likes of Jevon Carter, Ty Jerome, Elie Okobo, and most recently Cameron Payne to play out of position when they are on the court with each other.

A solid shooting guard like Devin Vassel is exactly what they need as someone who can come in off the bench in a role in which he is comfortable playing and provide scoring when Devin Booker needs a breather.

Vassel shot 41.5 percent from deep and 49 percent overall from the field this season with the Seminoles and with his size, 6’7″, that makes for a tough matchup.

Oh, did I mention he is also a high-flyer? Vassel is long, athletic, and is capable of putting up a few Kelly Oubre-style posters. On defense, that length provides superb shot-blocking for a player who enjoys time at the 2-guard, averaging a block per game.

Overall, he has some similarities to Mikal Bridges, and if the Suns could play with 15 Mikal Bridges on their team, they would. Vassel is a solid pick at #10.
